Taking the standard of our services seriously
Being a part of the recruitment industry means we’re working with HR departments to become the gatekeepers of businesses – and that’s a huge responsibility.
To ensure we always provide the highest standard of recruitment and customer service we adhere to several industry standards:
ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation
Recognised as the only international indicator of quality, the ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) 9001:2008 accreditation demonstrates ACR’s commitment to running an efficient and cost effective business.
Inspectors spend a day reviewing a company’s methods and systems, with an evaluation being made through employee interviews, record verification and sampling methodologies.
ACR has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for 19 years, and the final report in 2014 made special mention of the agency’s induction programme for new staff, with the audit verifying that the training matrix was up to date.
The report also highlighted the company’s high levels of customer satisfaction, ascertained by comprehensive methods of obtaining client and candidate feedback.
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is the professional body for the recruitment industry – and a vital part of our benchmarking as a recruitment agency.
As a member of the REC we abide by a Code of Practice, which ensures the recruitment services we offer are of an exceptional standard. Indeed, the REC is dedicated to raising recruitment standards, which helps to keep ACR at the forefront of industry changes.
Our REC membership also provides us with the opportunity to develop our team, here at ACR. You can find out more about the skills of our team members, and the role the REC and other industry bodies have played over on our Meet the Team page.
Several of our team at ACR are members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). The CIPD is the only HR professional institute to award chartered status.
By being members of the CIPD, the ACR team are ahead of the recruitment trend and have demonstrated their suitability and expertise as recruitment professionals.
The REC Good Recruitment Campaign
Anne Corder Recruitment is a part of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s Good Recruitment Campaign – a campaign aimed at helping businesses recognise how vital a strong resourcing strategy really is.
Recruitment of talented employees is critical for businesses of all sizes and in all sectors: public, private or not-for-profit. The Good Recruitment Campaign helps to establish benchmarking recruitment processes and practices.
The Campaign has been a huge success in creating a community of HR and procurement professionals, along with business leaders, all of whom champion best practice within recruitment. Find out more about the Good Recruitment Campaign and how it makes a difference to the work we do.
IRP Advocate and ‘employer of choice’
The Institute of Recruitment Professionals Advocacy programme recognises those companies and agencies from across the country that invest in their people and staff through industry standard professional development.
In 2013, ACR received recognition as an employer of choice through the IRP.
