ACR was established in Peterborough by Anne Corder and a small, hand-picked team in 1995.

By ensuring best practice was adhered to in every area of the business from day one, the consultancy quickly developed a reputation for the quality of service offered to both candidates and clients.

That reputation led to increased demand which saw an expansion of the business to take over all three floors of 4 Park Road. That move was followed in 2005 by the company extending into the neighbouring building, enabling a two-fold increase in size.

As the agency consolidated its position at the heart of Peterborough, it extended further, opening a satellite office in Peterborough Business Park at Lynch Wood, offering clients and candidates an out-of-town interview option.

The integration of ACR into the community was helped by the launch of the annual salary survey, the instigation of the employment law breakfast briefing, students sponsorship deals and an enhanced media presence, an interest which has continued.
