Trawling the internet, Alan Jappy pinpointed a number of potential job openings. With a wide range of experience taking in customer services, finance and business development, Alan's career history could have taken him in several directions. "I found a vacancy with the BGL Group which sounded really interesting," said Alan. "It was advertised on the Anne Corder Recruitment website so I registered." At Alan's initial consultation his skills, requirements and job history were discussed. "I had been looking at jobs in London but the more the ACR consultants told me about this vacancy the more it appealed. I was happy to travel but why do so if the right job is on your doorstep?" Alan, who had been made redundant from his former position at a city-based financial firm, was invited to an interview and within weeks was at his new desk at the Peterborough based company behind some of the best known motor and home insurance brands. |
