Are you an experienced Business Development Manager selling bespoke technical products into large manufacturers, ideally with a background with CAD and product design – our client is a privately owned business currently building its product portfolio to offer their clients a wider set of solutions. The Business Development Manager role is new to the organisation and you will be working closely with the Owner MD and his Commercial lead identifying opportunities within current clients and acquiring new business.
The product range is highly versatile and used within a range of different sectors and industries – you will be tasked with building upon a healthy sales pipeline through rigorous research into potential customers, identifying, contacting and building relationships with new customers, gathering insight to ensure you get in front of the right person at the right time to demo the products and land a sale. This can be a consultative sell offering bespoke solutions – ideally, you will have experience working within a production environment. A lengthy sale process potentially so you will need to demonstrate your hunger, resilience and tenacity to win business.
You can be based anywhere throughout the UK as the role is home-based – results will speak for themselves. In return, you will earn a generous salary with an annual bonus and car allowance.
