A leading online retailer, founded in 2012 & based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire are looking for an E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager with an interest in design, social media, an analytical mind for marketing & knowledge of conversion optimisation. The role offers the flexibility to work from home up to 50% of the time.
You will fully understand end-to-end customer journeys and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.
You must be able to offer insight and implement tailored digital marketing strategies across various channels in a highly regulated industry, ensuring content is fully optimised and well written.
An important part of this role is the ongoing development and expansion of 3 e-commerce websites - making use of analytical tools to track and report on online performance and make improvements where necessary to drive revenue and improve the user experience.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to improve the customer journey, devise strategies to strengthen customer retention, management of content generation and develop email marketing & retargeting campaigns.
You will have an in-depth understanding of web/eCommerce analytics and solid experience in A/B testing. Staying up to date with market trends, you will be able to identify key technologies to support the delivery of the e-commerce plan, ensure we maximise ROI opportunities and drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the business. You will also line manage 3 members of staff and relationships with a small number of external suppliers/content providers.
