Commercially critical role, working as Trade Marketing Manager for a global market leader and responsible for the creation of robust marketing plans across a broad portfolio of products and multiple trade partners.
Working collaboratively across the whole commercial function from category management to partner account managers and including the brand and digital marketing teams to ensure the creation and execution of trade marketing plans designed to meet the commercial objectives of the business. You will be responsible for:
- Plan to sell strategy – overall ongoing strategy to sell product incorporating different channels and customers to ensure parity of offering and delivery of commercial goals.
- Promotional plan strategy – detailed analysis and execution of the promotional activity designed to ensure robust product promotion and implementation across all channels.
- Promotional activation – deliver oversight of all promotional activity agreed and identifying problem areas, engaging with key stakeholders to highlight issues and deliver resolution quickly and without fuss.
- Financial oversight – ensuring all promotional activity obeys the return-on-investment goals and supports the commercial business strategy.
This role demands a highly versatile skill set – from orchestrating promotional plans and engaging all key stakeholders within the commercial team to deliver their contribution completely and on time, to analysing financial returns and providing insight and commentary on performance to internal and external stakeholders. You will have previously worked in a commercial marketing role, within a competitive consumer category and be easily able to demonstrate your value adds.
