Joining ACR in 1999, Karen has been a part of our team since there were just five of us in our Park Road offices. Today we have a full house in Lynch Wood and Karen is a part of our management team.

Looking after many different areas of the business, from accreditations and industry audits to supplier management and purchasing, Karen also has a direct role in candidate sourcing, change management, training and event management.

“We don’t adopt a high-street, sales approach to recruitment where everything is focussed on commission for the individual recruiter. We are much more collaborative at ACR; we recruit in the best interests of both candidates and clients. From when I joined ACR to today, that has always been a really important factor for me,” Karen said.

Karen is also a fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, a PRINCE2 practitioner, a member of the executive committee for REC Office Professionals and an ISO internal auditor. To add to these accolades, Karen is also our star baker – loving to bake whenever she has the opportunity, and particularly for our office charity bake sales!
